Sydney-based digital product delivery
Bluegum Digital works with Australian organisations that need practical software: internal portals, dashboards, SaaS products and hosted systems that stay maintained after launch.
Bluegum Digital can take a project from a rough brief to a working product, then keep it hosted, monitored and maintained.
Technical design, system scoping, component selection and implementation planning before build work starts.
ArchitectureRequirements discovery, process mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria. The aim is clear scope that can actually be built.
DiscoveryCustomer portals, internal tools, workflow systems and bespoke software built for production use.
Web appsReporting dashboards, self-service BI tools, data pipelines and information management platforms.
DataWebsites, intranets and web applications, including CMS integration and accessible front ends.
WebManaged support, patching, monitoring and feature updates under clear service levels.
SupportFull-stack SaaS builds, including workflow automation, subscription products and operational tools hosted on AWS Sydney.
SaaSAWS-hosted environments for development, testing and production. Data stays in Australian data centres.
CloudProject management, stakeholder reporting, sprint planning, risk tracking and milestone-based delivery.
DeliveryBluegum Digital is a product builder, not a staff augmentation shop. We scope, build and deploy working systems, then host and maintain them under SaaS or managed service agreements. Each sprint ends with something you can test.
You get fortnightly status reports by default. Scope changes are assessed for schedule, budget and risk before approval. A risk register starts at project kickoff.
Requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories and solution architecture. This defines the scope, constraints and success criteria before build work starts.
UI/UX design, interactive prototypes and technical architecture sign-off with the people who need to use or approve the system.
Two-week development sprints with a working demo at the end of each sprint. Feedback gets handled while the system is still taking shape.
Delivery verification, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility review, security checks and UAT before production release.
Production deployment to Australian-hosted cloud infrastructure through automated CI/CD pipelines, with rollback and release verification.
Documentation, admin training, runbooks and knowledge transfer. The client team gets what it needs to oversee and operate the system.
Hosting, monitoring, security patching, maintenance and feature updates under defined SLAs. Managed service agreements usually run for 3 to 5 years.

Data is stored in Australian data centres. AWS Sydney is IRAP-assessed to Protected level.
Automated infrastructure monitoring, daily backups and point-in-time recovery. RTO < 4 hours, RPO < 1 hour.
AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Admin access uses least-privilege controls and MFA. Critical CVEs are patched within 48 hours.
Automated test suites run on every code change. Staging environment verification before every production release.
Australian property investors and researchers needed one place to access, analyse and visualise property market data across multiple sources. Existing tools were either too expensive for individual users or too narrow.
We designed and built a full-stack SaaS platform with automated property data pipelines, interactive analytics dashboards, user accounts and Stripe subscriptions. It runs on AWS Sydney.
It is a useful reference point for client work because it includes the same moving parts: product design, data handling, dashboards, hosting and support.
Deliverables target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Work includes semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, keyboard navigation, screen reader testing, colour contrast checks and automated axe-core testing in CI/CD.
Client data can be stored in AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2), an IRAP-assessed environment. Offshore transfer or processing only happens with explicit client approval.
AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, least-privilege access and MFA for admin accounts. Dependency scanning and static analysis run as part of normal delivery. Penetration testing is available through specialist subcontractors.
Bluegum Digital is a Sydney-based Australian SME. Work is performed by Australian-based personnel, with specialist subcontractors brought in when a project needs deeper design, security, accessibility or cloud expertise.
Automated unit, integration and browser tests run on code changes. Releases go through code review, staging, UAT, accessibility checks and performance testing.
Professional Indemnity cover is $2,000,000. Public & Products Liability cover is $10,000,000. Both are held through Vero Insurance (AAI Limited), policy LPS019877447-12357. Certificate of Currency available on request.
The principal consultant leads each engagement personally, so clients deal directly with the person doing the work. Specialist subcontractors are used for design, security, accessibility auditing, DevOps and domain expertise when a project needs it.
The model is deliberately lean: low overhead, fast mobilisation and no junior team managed at arm's length.
